SLOVAKIA
Node Candidate Name: Slovak BioImaging Network (SKBIN) - Functional Imaging Slovakian Flagship Node
The Slovak SKBIN – Functional Imaging flagship Node Candidate is a multi-site Node Candidate based on a network of excellent laboratories in several institutions with corresponding scientific and technical background. It offers open access to biological and molecular imaging technologies and combinations of state-of-the-art techniques in fluorescence and Raman imaging including so rare methods as: detection and imaging of singlet oxygen, combination of Raman imaging with optical tweezers and application of developed nanosensors in all these technologies. In addition, this Node Candidate offers a very strong knowledge in computation science closely related to the analysis of images.
